Welcome to Lilla Wappen 2024! 

Students, autumn is here, caps inside out… 

Lilla Wappen is a more formal sitz celebrating the arrival of autumn and the start of the new academic year! In spring during Wappen, we hear the words “Students, spring is here, caps on!” but at Lilla Wappen, we are asked to turn them inside out as we await the return of spring! 

Lilla Wappen is a three-course dinner that includes snaps, songs, and fun activities, organized in collaboration with the Student Union of Åbo Akademi University (ÅAS), Statsvetenskapliga klubben (SF), Merkantila klubben (MK), Kemistklubben (KK), and Humanistiska föreningen (HF). Lilla Wappen is also seen as the big innitiation party before the annual celebration weekends begin. Join us in celebrating autumn together with students from social sciences, economics, chemistry, humanities, and many more! 

The dinner party has room for 200 participants. Registration opens on Friday, September 6th at 1.00 p.m. and closes on Tuesday, September 17th at 11.59 p.m. Tuesday, September 17th is also the last day to cancel your registration for the event.
