At Tavasthem we provide student accommodation in the heart of Åbo, close to both campus and the city center with all the best restaurants in town. At Tavasthem you can choose to relax in the comfort of your own room or to socialize with the rest of the tenants in the Tavasthem community.
The Tavasthem was thoroughly renovated in 2017 and consists of 44 updated residences where modern functionality and architect Erik Bryggman’s signature style coexists side by side.
There are both studio apartments (approx. 16 m2) and two-room apartments (approx. 32 m2) at Tavasthem. Most of the apartments have their own refrigerator, toilet, and a space for a microwave. Some of the two-room apartments also have their own showers and a stove.
All tenants have access to the communal kitchens, showers, laundry room and WiFi. The house is also home to a gym, event venues, an esthetician, flower shop, and the popular lunch restaurant Kårkafé Kåren where students can enjoy a meal for affordable price.
