The Student Union of ÅAU (ÅAS), the Student Union of University of Vaasa (VYY) and the Student Union of Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMOK) invite all students to join us in the traditional Topelius’ statue graduation hat ceremony!
The ceremony takes place on April 30 at 6 p.m. at the Topelius statue in the corner of Kyrkoesplanad and Hovrättsesplanad. The programme includes giving the Topelius statue his graduation hat and listening to celebratory speeches.
Bring your friends, good vibes, and your graduation cap, and celebrate Wappu with us in this wonderful May Day Eve tradition!
After the caps will be put on, the student choir Pedavoces will perform at the stairs of Vasa Övningsskola (at the upper secondary school).
