Dear students and student associations!
It’s finally time for the traditional student event Fastlaskiainen (Shrove Tuesday)! The event, which is organized in collaboration with Novium and with support from Study in Turku, takes place on 13 February, from 2 p.m. to about 4 p.m. Fastlaskiainen is a tradtional sled competition between student associations, and it will be held on Vårdberget/ Vartiovuori, Åbo/ Turku.❄️
The event is free of charge for the audience, and no registration is needed. “After Sled” will be organised at Kåren right after the sled competition.
All sub-associations of ÅAS are welcome to participate free of charge (an email with the registration link has been sent to the associations).
Traditionally, Fastlaskiainen is held on Shrove Tuesday, as a sled competition between student associations. After-Sled at Kåren will begin right after the sled competition. You can play billiards, beer pong, and board games on the second floor at Kåren. The dance floor will also be open! Beer, shots, energy drinks and hot chocolate are available for purchase at the bar.

NB! The After-Sled is held on the second floor of Kåren and, unfortunately, the accessibility is limited.
