On Wednesday, 12 March, between noon and 6 p.m., ÅAS is organising a blood donation event in collaboration with Blood Service at Åbo Svenska Teater!
This year’s theme is overalls, so feel free to wear yours if you like. The student association that donates the most blood will traditionally win the so-called Drop Cup, so remember to mention which association you belong to when you arrive. After donating blood, there will be some free snacks, and overalls patches will also be handed out.
Before donating blood, remember to fill out the health questionnaire at bloodservice.fi! There, you can also book an appointment in advance, but it is also fine to just show up and ask for available times. At canidonate.fi, you can check if you are eligible to donate blood right now.
Remember to bring your driving licence or an official ID card.
