You don’t have to be left alone with feelings of concern or anxiety – help and support is available

News — 25.2.2022

The war between Russia and Ukraine can raise concerns, anxiety and fear. If you feel you need to talk to someone, you can contact:

MIELI rf’s Crisis Helpline

09 2525 0113 and on WhatsApp on 040 195 8202

The Crisis Helpline allows you to discuss your thoughts, feelings and situation in life with a crisis worker or a trained volunteer. You can make the call anonymously and confidentially. If the line is busy, we recommend calling again after a few minutes. Your phone operator will charge a fee based on your telephone subscription (local network rate or mobile charge). MIELI does not charge for the call.

The Helpline is open

Mon and Tues 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
Wed 1 p.m.–4 p.m. and 5 p.m.–9 p.m.
Thurs 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
