Extendend contract for Geologicum

Åbo Akademi University has decided to extend the contract for Geologicum on Domkyrkotorget 1 with the Åbo Akademi University Foundation. The new contract is effective for the next five years.

Geologicum is used by The Student Union of Åbo Akademi University (ÅAS) and it offers spaces for association offices, meeting areas for students, practice for music associations as well as storage. Through the extended contract, student associations will continue to have access to suitable premises for their activities.

The Student Union works continuously together with ÅAU to meet our members’ and associations’ needs for adequate spaces, that enable the activities and development of community between students. Through the extension of the Geologicum contract the university continues to support student associations activity and strengthen the sense of community, which is a central part of the universitys strategy and brand.
