Guest lectures: anti-racism and inclusion

All students at ÅAU, and ÅAS’ sub-associations, are welcome to join in and listen to our guest lecture about antiracism and inclusion on Zoom.
Our speakers are Emmi Heinonen from Muudi and Carina Nordman-Byskata. Emmi Heinonen is an expert on the mental health effects of racism and she will be speaking about antiracism, and Carina Nordman-Byskata is knowledgeable in neuropsychiatric diagnoses like autism and ADHD, and she will be talking about how to include students with these diagnoses on campus.
Nothing in expected of the participants other than to listen, this means that microphones and cameras stay off during the lectures. Both speakers will answer any questions participants might have after they have finished their talk. The schedule for the evening and the Zoom link can be found below:
5–5.45 p.m: Emmi Heinonen talks about racism and antiracism (in English)
5.45–6 p.m.: Questions and a short break
6–6.30 pm.m: Carina Nordman-Byskata talks about how to include neurodivergent students (in Swedish)
