ÅAS and TYY are taking part in the Europe Forum!
The Europe Forum is Finland’s leading arena for European political debate. This year, the Europe Forum takes place on 27–29 August at the Turku City Theatre and we as student unions are taking part with our own session about sustainable education in Europe. The event is free of charge and open to everyone!
Decision-makers and experts will discuss issues around the theme “The world is changing – how does Europe respond?” and also celebrate Finland’s 30 years of EU membership.
Registration for the event opens in August. Mark the dates in your calendar already!

Sustainable education in Europe – how can we together organize high-quality and sustainable education that reduces inequality?
Education is a cornerstone of developing a sustainable society, both nationally and internationally. In a free Europe, we can collaborate to overcome inequality, strengthen democracy, and build a sustainable society through education.
As student unions, we want to highlight this discussion so that decision makers, universities, and students can work together towards a Europe where everyone has equal opportunities to support society’s foundation – education.
